Or so we are told from the old adage about such things. 
Well, the Japanese people apparantly have heard this one too, and a scorned woman looks a lot like this wild creature: - the HANNYA.
Often represented in plays, stories and woodcuts, the Hannya, ( or Hanya) is also a very popular subject for tattoos. I should know, I have tattooed a Zillion of them!
This painting stands 120cm tall, by 75cm wide.  ( 47 x 29 inches)
It is water based acrylic paint ( non toxic, no voc´s) on nordic birch 12mm plywood, so its safe to hang it in the childrens room ( please dont do that)
