"Memento Mori" is latin for Remember Death, and is represented here as an artistic reminder of the inevitability of death.
Not to be interpreted however as a morbid omen, but rather,  as the smiling skull and  text borrowed  from spiritual guru Ram Dass suggest, a reminder for all of us to "Be Here Now", or live right now in the moment.
